The stylish and contemporary Julieta Kitchen Box was designed for the premium manufacturer Alessi by the award-winning, Spanish-born designer Lluis Clotet.
After graduating from Barcelona's Higher Technical School with a degree in architecture, Clotet continued to work for Correa y Milá, where he honed his artistic skills and nurtured his flair for design. By 1971, Clotet had secured his position as one of Spain's foremost designers with the project 'las casa fulla'. During the early part of the 1980's, Clotet collaborated with the renowned designer Ignacio Paricio, with whom he still maintains a close working relationship.
Constructed from glass and polished stainless steel, the Julieta Kitchen Box is available in four different sizes and can be used individually or as a set. The stainless steel screw top ensures that the container is air-tight so that foodstuffs or liquids are kept fresher for longer. The jars are suitable for the storage of a range of products, including rice, beans, herbs and breakfast items such as muesli. These beautiful jars by Alessi are easily cleaned and maintained, ensuring that they will remain in peak condition for many years to come.
