La conica Espresso Maker

This elegant Espresso Maker 90002 'la conica' was designed by Aldo Rossi for the manufacturer Alessi.

Although named "la conica", this beautiful design could also have been appropriately called "l'iconica"! It's a piece of product design history - the first of Rossi's many collaborations with the manufacturer to be created and manufactured for the mass market. Its sense of confident and playful personality were a breakthrough when first released in the 1980s. It's since come to define Alessi's house style, and feels just as timeless and contemporary today.

Manufactured in gleaming steel to an eminently practical design, the Espresso Maker 90002 'la conica' comes in two sizes. The smaller of the two models makes three cups of espresso and measures 23.5cm by 7.5cm - perfect for coffee for two, and a quick top-up. The larger, six-cup model is only slightly larger at 28.5cm by 9cm, and is ideal for the family breakfast table or as a sophisticated way to round off a dinner with friends.
