PCH06/26 Fruit Basket

The Alessi PCH06/26 Basket was created by Pierre Charpin for the Italian design label Alessi.

Established in 1921, Alessi became known for its innovative and contemporary designs for the home. The label has a strong focus on combining the traditional skills of glass and metalwork together with modern technologies, the aim being to bring art and industry together. Paris-born Pierre Charpin studied art before moving into the design of furniture and home objects. His work is widely exhibited in places such as the Pompidou Centre in Paris and among his many awards is the prestigious Compasso d'Oro.

The design of the Alessi PCH06/26 Basket, with its curving filigree elements, makes a graceful addition to any kitchen or dining room. Its simple lines and gentle shape blend easily with its functional diversity, while its outline is a modern update on the gallery trays of the 18th and 19th-centuries.
