The Tolomeo Mega Terra Floor Lamp With Dimmer has been created by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for the brand Artemide. The Italian brand believes that light is as functional as it is decorative. It seeks to represent this by manufacturing lighting fixtures and accessories that not only provide light but also a visually striking, timeless medium to cast it. This is well illustrated in the Tolomeo Mega Terra Floor Lamp With Dimmer. The largest of the Tolomeo floor lamps, it has a long metallic stem rising out of a disc-shaped base. Both are made of aluminum, which gives the lamp a sleek, high-end look. The stem bends into a short arm that also bends into a second arm. At the end of the second arm is a round diffuser made of either parchment paper or silk satin fabric. Through the diffuser, the lamp casts both direct and indirect light that can be precisely located by adjusting the stem, arms or the diffuser, which can be pivoted.

The Tolomeo Mega Terra Floor Lamp With Dimmer comes in different sizes. They have diameters of 32cm, 36cm or 42cm with a height of 238cm and widths of 103cm, 107cm and 113cm respectively. The light can be dimmed with a dimmer that is located on the cable. The lamp needs a bulb with a E27 socket.
