Yanzi LED Floor Lamp

The Yanzi LED Floor Lamp was designed by Neri & Hu for the Artemide lighting label and is a fantastic example of how to add humour and charisma to everyday home furnishings.

Headquartered in Shanghai, Neri & Hu started out as a partnership featuring Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, but it's grown to include more than 30 talented associates. The company's roots lie in architecture, where it's won RIBA and Interior Design Magazine awards. But this hasn't stopped the team from branching out into product design - especially the kind of high-class lighting products that suit contemporary interior spaces.

The Yanzi LED Floor Lamp shows off the brand's quirkier side. Resembling a couple of birds perched on a slender tree or power lines, it's frames and diffusers have been expertly crafted to evoke natural forms. Each bulb sits on its own metal perch and has a delicate appearance, and the results are spectacular. Each Yanzi LED Floor Lamp measures 192.5cm tall, making them relatively large for interior lamps. They also measure 75 x 40 cm in depth and width - so they will make a statement but shouldn't be too large to slip into most floor plans.
