The Hashira LED Wall Lamp has been created by Norm Architects for the brand Audo. Its design is inspired by traditional washi paper lanterns. It was named Hashira which means column in Japanese. This is reflected in the shape of the lamp's shade.
The Hashira LED Wall Lamp has an overall warm, inviting look that combines creative geometry and western aesthetics. Its linen shade is hand-made. It filters the light cast so that it is diffused and glare-free. The shade takes its cylindrical shape from a frame it is fitted into that is made of laser-cut steel. The steel is welded to ensure stability. It is divided into equally sized rectangles. Again, this design is borrowed from the Japanese culture, except there they use bamboo. Each opening on the frame casts a light against the wall. For the sake of offering versatility in regards to how it can be mounted, the lamp has a slender mounting plate that is almost completely deceived.
The Hashira LED Wall Lamp has a width of 12.7cm, a height of 30cm and a depth of 11.6cm. Its PVC cable is 200 cm long and it has an on/off switch on it. The lamp is not dimmable.
