Solum Side Table

The Solum Side Table was designed in-house for the brand AYTM.

Since its launch in 2015 by the design partnership of Kathrine and Per Gran Hartvigsen, AYTM has gained a strong following for its range of high-quality furniture and decorative items for the home. The label focuses mainly on luxurious pieces for the living room, dining room and kitchen, all of which showcase a Nordic flair for design and colour. Its talented team of designers is led by Anne Stensgaard.

Is the Solum Side Table a sculpture or a table? With its striking outline, it performs as both. Practical in concept and artistic in design, it works perfectly as a small table alongside sofas and armchairs but also acts as a console table in dining areas and hallways. As such, it provides a base for displaying sculptures and ornaments. The table has a steel podium core and features a marble foot with stark architectural elements that are evocative of Art Deco style. In contrast, the circular steel tabletop adds a softening element. The Solum Side Table requires some simple home assembly and is available in two heights, 67cm and 55cm. The tabletop has a diameter of 32cm.
