Nest Outdoor Armchair Round

The Nest Outdoor Armchair Round was designed by Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen for the brand Cane-Line.

This Danish duo, based in Copenhagen, have worked together since 1977 and have achieved worldwide recognition for their innovative designs. Winning multiple awards on the way, they are now regarded as among the most eminent designers in Scandinavia. Their association with Cane-Line is a natural fit. The manufacturer specialises in outdoor furniture and, from the beginning, its  mission has been to make products that last, are practical and, above all, comfortable.

With the Nest Outdoor Armchair Round, they have worked with craftsman in Indonesia who perfect the art of weaving rattan to make traditional furniture. The material used in this chair is actually made from polyethylene, which is water resistant and weatherproof, and sits on an aluminium frame. The seat is 85cm wide and topped by comfortable cushions made from the company's Natte material in light grey. The rattan weave provides a light and airy appearance in any outdoor space where you can relax and unwind in elegant comfort and it is light enough to bring indoors to enjoy if the weather turns bad!
