The BM5568 Deck Chair has been created by Børge Mogensen for the brand Carl Hansen. This stylish deck chair was originally a private project created for Mogensen's own balcony, but the results were so impressive that the Danish designer chose to make the chair available to a wider public. Since the 1960s, its welcoming looks and total comfort have made it a popular option for outdoor settings across the world.

The BM5568 Deck Chair has a classic folding design based around a teak wood frame. All of the wood used in the frame has been harvested from FSC®-certified sustainable sources, and the wood has a rich, warm colour. Its slats have been curved to accommodate sitters perfectly, while a padded cushion is tied along the full length of the structure, offering exceptional comfort.

The BM5568 Deck Chair measures 60.5cm wide, 89.1cm high and 93.4cm deep, with a seat height of 36.8cm. The use of slender teak slats keeps the weight low, meaning that it can be positioned to catch the sunshine. And when not required, the BM5568 folds up into a flat package which can be stashed away easily in outdoor cupboards or sheds. A great option for poolside terraces and balconies alike.
