The CH37 Armchair Frame Oak has been created by Hans J. Wegner for the brand Carl Hansen. It is made of FSC®-certified wood and finished with eco-friendly water-based paint. This qualifies it for classification as a Sustainable Choice product.

The design of the CH37 Armchair Frame Oak is inspired by the Shaker style of furniture that originated in America. It inclines towards optimum functionality, durability and minimalism. The chair embodies these ideals with a simple yet elegant frame. It has a wide, rectangular backrest. Its upper edge is straight while the lower one is angled which works to provide optimal back support. Below it are armrests that are set high. The seat below them is as well-sized as the backrest. The seat is a focal point as it is made of paper cord. It has been woven into a distinct design. The weave provides a tight, firm and comfortable place to sit. The frame is supported by rounded legs. Additional bars running along and across the legs enhance the chair's strength and stability.

The CH37 Armchair Frame Oak has a width of 58cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 50cm. Its seat height is 45cm and its armrest height is 68cm. It comes with an oiled or soaped oak.
