The Adjustable Table E 1027 side table by Eileen Gray - Among the classics Adjustable Table E 1027 is perhaps the ultimate classic.

Designed in 1927, its ingeniously proportioned, distinctive form has made this height-adjustable E 1027 table one of the most popular design icons of the 20th century.

The name Adjustable Table E 1027 was not chosen simply at random. Eileen Gray named this side table after her summer house E 1027, “Maison en bord de mer”, that she had built for herself and her collaborator, Jean Badovici. The secret code name was created by her as well: E stands for Eileen, 10 for Jean J is the 10th letter of the alphabet , 2 for B adovici and 7 for G ray .

In 1987 the Museum of Modern Art in New York paid Eileen Gray their respects by including her ClassiCon Adjustable Table E 1027 in their permanent exhibition.

The Adjustable Table E 1027 by ClassiCon is equipped with a chrome-plated steel tube structure and a table top made of clear crystal glass. It is height adjustable from 62 - 101 cm.

On request, the Adjustable Table E 1027 is also available with different table tops.
