The Riva Bar Table has been created by Schweiger and Viererbl for the brand Conmoto. It is immediately clear that this piece is inspired by the Purist Movement. This movement promoted the combination of art and technology.
The Riva Bar Table is made of High-Pressure Laminates 'HPL'. It is lightweight but also strong and scratch resistant. It has an overall sleek, minimalist look because of the clean edges and screws that have been discreetly inserted. The table has a rectangle-shaped tabletop that is supported by two broad panels on either side rather than the traditional four legs. Another panel on the underside of the tabletop enhances the table's strength and durability. A stainless steel rod running from one end of the table to the other does the same. It also provides a footrest along the entire length of the table.
The Riva Bar Table has a width of 160cm, a height of 109cm and a depth of 62cm. It comes in light and dark-toned neutral colours. This minimalistic table is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is a versatile piece that can be used as a dining table in a studio apartment, a small kitchen or to create a business nook.
