The Falkland 165 Suspension Lamp was designed by Bruno Munari for Danese.
Iconic Italian artist and designer Munari was born in 1907 and enjoyed a long and successful career as one of the pioneers of the fields of Modernism, Futurism and Concrete Art in Europe in the Twentieth Century. Following work as a press graphic designer and children's book designer, Munari joined the Italian Futurist movement in the late 1920s, creating sculptural works including abstract-geometrical designs and functionless machines, transitioning to everyday objects in the '40s and '50s. The designer is best-remembered for continuous creativity throughout his iconic career.
