The Tottori Sofa has been created by Kateryna Sokolova for the brand Driade. The sofa is named after a Japanese animation movie. It has a silhouette made of curves and plush fabric which gives it a cosy, inviting look.
The Tottori Sofa has a frame made of metal which makes it strong and durable. It has a rectangular backrest with rounded corners that soften the lines. The seat follows the same contours and also has rounded edges. The metallic inner shell is concealed by padding which is done with medium-density flexible polyurethane. This gives it shape and provides a surface to sit and lean back on that is firm and comfortable. The padding is hidden by upholstery. It is finished with a blended fabric made of 90% cotton and 10% polyester. It is strong, comfortable and hardwearing. The sofa rests on sturdy legs with are rounded. They are stout which enhances the sofa's look of cosy softness.
The Tottori Sofa has a height of 90cm, a width of 154cm and a depth of 81cm. It has a seat height of 43cm. It comes in bright colours. The sofa is part of a series that includes armchairs and chairs that can be used to put together a coordinated set.
