The Drayton Console was designed by David Chipperfield for the brand e15.

Chipperfield has a strong claim to being the UK's leading contemporary designer, having been responsible for a huge number of iconic designs. Produced in conjunction with German label e15, this leading light in the design world has produced the Drayton Console.

Characterised by fine wood and consummate craftsmanship, the Drayton Consoleimpresses from the start with its dark walnut frame. Part of the Fayland family of furnishings, this sleek Console is subtle, elegant, and supremely engineered, making it capable of adding appeal to anyone's home. Designed to rest against almost any interior wall, it has a rectangular surface which measures 140 x 35 cm and stands 85cm high. That's ideal for keeping ornaments in a visible position, or for storing living room essentials. The form is simple, with a "T" shaped frame underlying the main surface and two angled legs made from planks which provide optimal support. This restrained approach pays off, giving the Drayton Console a distinguished, graceful look which elevates it comfortably above similar products. It goes beautifully with the coffee table designed by Chipperfield for the Fayland range.
