The e15 Colour Floor Lamp LT04 was created by Daniel Rybakken and Andreas Engesvik for the e15 label and is a stylistically daring, beautifully composed piece of contemporary lighting design.
Both Rybakken and Engesvik hail from Norway. With their Colour collection, the two young designers set out to experiment with light and tone, sculpting light to create unique effects. It sounds avant garde, but the results of their innovative techniques are sublime and include dazzling domestic lighting pieces like the e15 Colour Floor Lamp LT04.
This floor lamp is composed of two pieces of tinted glass: one blue and one pink. Between these two glass sheets, Rybakken and Engesvik have placed a white diffuser and a single 19.2W LED lamp, which creates a magical glow. This isn't a lamp that will dazzle users or dominate spaces. Instead, it's a subdued, beautiful piece that will create a gentle atmosphere in a completely unique way.
The lamp itself is made from steel and coloured glass and measures 75 x 105 cm, with a cable length of 300cm. It weighs 42kg and can be easily moved around your home, adding a gorgeous source of illumination wherever it is placed.
