The Taffel Dining Table 250x90x74cm extendable has been created by Thomas Pedersen for the brand Eva Solo. Taffel refers to a kind of upper class feast in Pedersen's native Danish, and this is an apt summary of the luxury on offer with this elegant dining table. Designed in a sleek minimalist style, Taffel is utterly contemporary. Thanks to extendable elements, it is also highly adaptable.

The Taffel Dining Table 250x90x74cm extendable has a rectangular tabletop which measures 250cm long and 90cm wide and has been made from plywood with an appealing linoleum covering. This surface material gives the table a pure appearance but also makes it easy to clean. Underneath, Pedersen has added a modest four-legged frame made from powder-coated steel. The elements work together beautifully, combining elegance and strength in a robust package.

The Taffel Dining Table 250x90x74cm extendable stands 74cm tall, which should suit most dining room chairs. It can be used in the standard format but has another aspect which makes it even more practical. The design features two extension leaves which extend the width by 60cm in either direction.
