The Athens Jute Rug has been created for ferm LIVING by the brand ferm LIVING. It is a rectangular rug made from woven jute for a natural and organic finish that is very attractive to look at, hardwearing and yet soft on the feet. Jute is a natural fibre made from a species of flowering mallow plant, and the shiny, soft fibre has been used traditionally for centuries to weave beautiful rugs and tapestries.

The Athens Jute Rug is a great choice if you are seeking to bring a greater range of natural materials into your home and to minimise chemically-treated fabrics. Made from 100% woven jute, this rug is hand-crafted by artisans, and it features plenty of natural variations. The rug has raw tied edges for visual interest and a classic finish. The Athens Jute Rug comes in two sizes to suit. The larger rug has a length of 300cm, a width of 204cm and a depth of 2cm.

The smaller rug has a length of 200cm, a width of 140cm and a depth of 2cm. The larger size weighs 35.4kg and will act as a full room floor covering for larger spaces. The smaller rug weighs 15.2kg.
