Miru Glass Montre

The Miru Glass Montre has been created by the in-house studio for the brand ferm LIVING. Designed to offer a stylish place to display ornaments or store essentials, Miru blends natural wood and transparent glass in a refined composition that will impress on its own - even without beautiful items inside.

The Miru Glass Montre takes the form of a wooden box made from sustainably harvested oak wood. The frame of the box houses a series of glass panes, and one side features an inlaid wooden door to provide access to the interior. This wooden door opens with a brass clip at the top of the box and folds downwards via a series of hinges, while there is also a slightly inset wooden Miru base to provide additional stability. The result is harmonious and modest, but undoubtedly beautiful.

The Miru Glass Montre measures 40cm wide, 40cm deep and stands 42cm high, with a total weight of 7kg. The box can be used on its own, although the designers have also provided the option of stacking multiple Miru Glass boxes. That way, you can store valuables and have them visible and ready for use, and the Miru stack will add a gorgeous accent to anyone's home.
