The Ripple Carafe with Glass Set of 4 has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. It will turn everyday gatherings at the table into an elegant affair. The details on every piece in the set lend a table a vintage aesthetic.
The Ripple Carafe with Glass Set of 4 is made of fine, light glass. Its most outstanding detail is the fluting, a look that was all the rage in the 1920s. It is achieved with a mould. The process is a manual one so there are minor differences between similar pieces. To get the desired shape and size, glass is poured into a mould in liquid form. A mouth-blowing pipe is then used to blow it into every part of the mould. When it solidifies, it will have taken the shape of the mould. On this set, each glass has its own look. Some have a tapered bottom in the middle, others have it close to the bottom and others higher up.
The carafe in the Ripple Carafe with Glass Set of 4 has a height of 24cm and a diameter of 9cm. It has a capacity of 1 litre. Each glass has a height of 8.8cm and a diameter of 7cm. It has a capacity of 0.2 litres.
