The Vuelta LED Floor Lamp has been created by ferm LIVING for the ferm LIVING. At first glance, this distinctive lamp can pass for a decorative piece. When it is turned on, it reveals itself as an unexampled, functional floor lamp.
The Vuelta LED Floor Lamp has a body made from a down-turned U-shape. It is made of white opal glass that has a glossy finish that lends subtle shimmer and sophistication. The mouth-blown glass is rippled which works with the sculptural arc to create a look that mimics that of ancient columns such as in Greek and Roman architecture. The rippling also adds texture. The lamp stands on solid brass feet on the round, stout ends on either end of the inverted U-shape in the middle. The metallic feet are finished with matte polish. They make a stunning contrast against the white opal glass shade and add subtle decorative detail. The lamp uses an LED light source that cannot be replaced.
The Vuelta LED Floor Lamp has a width of 40cm, a height of 36cm and a depth of 16cm. Its cable is 260cm long. The warm, white light it casts can be dimmed via a switch located on the cable. The lamp is handmade which may cause minor variations in similar pieces.
