The Luce Orizzontale S2 LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the brand Flos. It completely throws convention away by doing away with shade. In its place, it has a linear diffuser that casts light in a straight line.

The Luce Orizzontale S2 LED Suspension Lamp has a tube-shaped diffuser that is secured to the ceiling with lengths of suspension cables. It has a chain of interlinked glass modules along its length. They are transparent so they can cast light. The internal part of it is made of polished extruded aluminium. It has a pair of linear LED modules that cast direct and indirect light downwards. The modules can be removed and replaced if the need arises. The light intensity can be adjusted using a touch dimmer on the lamp or a remote-controlled push button. It can also be controlled remotely via a DALI and touch dimmer.

The Luce Orizzontale S2 LED Suspension Lamp has a length of 207.5cm and a diameter of 10cm. Its cable is 249cm. It comes in metallic finishes that work with any décor. It is sure to be the centre of attention in any room as are the patterns of lights and shadows that will dance on the wall when it is switched on.
