The Austere Table Trestle Set of 2 was inspired by an experience the designer had while teaching in Africa. He was surprised to find the classrooms had no furniture. He solved the problem with trestles that could quickly be assembled into tables that the whole class could use. They are also easy to put away when they are not in use. The set is made of FSC-certified European oak which qualifies it as a Sustainable Choice product. It has functional and aesthetic details like corner bridle joints and outstanding hardware that are made of polished metal.

The Austere Table Trestle Set of 2 has a 64cm, a width of 24.5cm and a height of 70.5cm. It comes with a natural, white-pigmented finish or a dark-stained one. Linear tabletops that go over the trestles from the same brand are available for purchase separately. They come in different dimensions to assemble various sizes of tables.
