The Sun-Light of Love LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Todd Boontje for the brand Foscarini. With its effervescent energy, the lamp is a classic Boontje design, showcasing the Dutch designer's flair for crafting imaginative pieces which blend industrial design and natural motifs. Known for flamboyant chairs like Shadowy and for rugs which evoke fields of flowers, Boontje excels in lighting design as well. His creativity is a natural fit for Italian label Foscarini - one of Europe's most prestigious design houses.

Boontje's first creation for the brand, the Sun-Light of Love LED Suspension Lamp takes the form of a burst of sunlight. Indeed, the designer set out to bring sunlight into the home, while adding an element of romance at the same time.

Immediately catching the eye with its spherical design, the lamp conjures up a sunburst effect via spines made from liquid coated aluminium. The diffuser measures 62 x 65 cm, making it large enough to serve as a centrepiece in living rooms or bedrooms. The Sun-Light of Love LED Suspension Lamp also creates ample brightness thanks to an energy efficient LED bulb. The luminaire has a built-in light source that cannot be replaced.
