Ant™ Kid's Chair Chromed

The Ant™ Kid's Chair Chromed has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. It may be made for little people but it is big on style. It also provides ample support and comfort for young ones.

The Ant™ Kid's Chair Chromed was designed in 1952. It is made of nine layers of ash or pine wood veneer. It is FSC®-certified and finished with eco-friendly paint which qualifies the chair for listing as a Sustainable Choice product. The veneer has been pressure-pressed together to form a singular shell modelled to reflect the curves of the human body. It has a wing-shaped backrest that is wide at the top. It then tapers downwards and broadens out again starting from the point where the waist would be when seated. It has a well-sized seat with curved edges that round off the elegant arches that start at the top. The shell is supported by a base made of narrow, rounded steel legs finished with chrome plating that makes them gleam.

The Ant™ Kid's Chair Chromed has a width of 40cm, a height of 60cm and a depth of 40cm. It has a seat height of 34cm. It comes in bright and neutral colours.
