The Carimate™ Armchair Beech has been created by Vico Magistretti for the brand Fritz Hansen. Originally designed for a golf club located in Carimate, Milan, it was named after the place. Later, it found a fan base all over the world.
The Carimate™ Armchair Beech was debuted in 1959. It is categorised as a Sustainable Choice product because of its eco-friendly production materials. It has a frame made of FSC®-certified beech wood. Its backrest, which is made of a sturdy bar of wood, extends forward to form arched armrests. The chair has rounded front legs and similarly shaped ones are at the back. Its seat is made of paper cord that has been tightly woven to form a firm and comfortable seating space. It isn't dyed and has a subtle, geometric pattern so it blends in seamlessly with the tones of the wooden frame.
The Carimate™ Armchair Beech has a width of 58cm, a height of 62.4cm and a depth of 52.3cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It will add a look of simple elegance to a kitchen or dining table and it can also be used in restaurants, hotel rooms and lobbies, receptions and other commercial establishments.
