The Egg Chair™ Loungechair Leather Brown Bronze Base has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. Jacobsen was one of the most famous Danish designers of the 20th century and worked across a range of styles. Egg is a lounge chair which reflects his playful side. First introduced in 1958, its egg-shaped shell is a technical masterpiece and always enjoyable to use.

The shell of the Egg Chair™ Loungechair Leather Brown Bronze Base has been crafted from a molded CombiPUR composite and curves elegantly, resembling a cracked eggshell in form. The shell can be tilted to suit different body shapes, and is supported by a cross-shaped base made from a mix of steel and aluminium with a bronze finish, and allows the chair to swivel freely through 360 degrees.

Sitters can sink into the shell, which is upholstered in walnut Grace leather and filled with forgiving foam. They can kick back and relax or swivel as needed, making Egg a fine option for work or play. The Egg Chair™ Loungechair Leather Brown Bronze Base measures 86cm wide and 95cm deep, while it has a total height of 107cm, a seat height of 37cm and an armrest height of 58cm.
