Egg™ Footrest Fabric Warm Graphite Base

The Egg™ Footrest Fabric Warm Graphite Base has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. His futuristic, innovative designs earned the late architect and industrial designer Jacobsen the reputation of a father of modern Danish design and functional architecture. His iconic designs, which were well ahead of their time, are still sought after today. The Egg™ Footrest Fabric Warm Graphite Base is one such design. It has a one-of-a-kind shape, being indented at the centre to allow for comfortable seating or resting of feet. The sides are slightly raised, with curves that give the piece a clean, sleek look. The footstool rests on a stem made of tubular welded steel that spreads out into a swivel star-shaped base. The stem and base are finished in graphite. The stool is padded with cold foam and upholstered in Christianshavn. This premium-quality upholstery fabric was created in-house by Fritz Hansen. The ends of the legs have gliders to help protect the floor.

The Egg™ Footrest Fabric Warm Graphite Base has a width of 56cm, a height of 37cm and a depth of 40cm. It has a seat height of 37cm. The footrest can be used with a matching chair or any other armchair.
