Egg™ Footrest Leather Brown Bronze Base

The Egg™ Footrest Leather Brown Bronze Base has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. The late Danish architect and industrial designer left behind a legacy of a great contribution to architectural functionalism. He is, in fact, considered one of the fathers of modern Danish design. The Egg™ Footrest Leather Brown Bronze Base is one of his many futuristic designs that were ahead of their time. With a shell made of satin polished aluminum, the footrest has a semi-circular or half-moon shaped top. Over the shell is padding made of polyurethane foam reinforced with glass fibre. The foam is moulded directly onto the shell. Over the padding is soft and durable high-quality upholstery leather in a walnut colour. The stool sits on a stem fashioned from welded steel. At the bottom is a four-star base made of aluminum finished in a bronze hue.

The Egg™ Footrest Leather Brown Bronze Base has a width of 56cm, a height of 37cm and a depth of 40cm. Its seat height is 37cm. The footrest, which can be used as such or as a stool, comes with a matching chair from the same series.
