Product description

The Lily™ Kid's Chair Chromed has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. It was initially designed for a bank in Denmark. When it was mass-produced and made available to the public, it found a ready market.

The Lily™ Kid's Chair Chromed is made of pine and ash wood veneer. It is FSC®-certified which qualifies the chair for listing as a Sustainable Choice product. The veneer is pliable enough to be cut into a shape that replicates the form of the human body. It has a wing-shaped backrest that narrows as it continues downwards. From where the waist would be when seated, it then broadens out to form a wide seat. Raised curved edges complete the series of curves that begin at the top. The shell is made of chrome-plated narrow steel tubes. They have been shaped into U-shaped frames that have been attached on either side to form the legs. Finished with gliders underneath, they are slightly outspread which enhances the chair strength and stability. It also makes it possible to conveniently stack the chairs for storage.

The Lily™ Kid's Chair Chromed has a width of 40cm, a height of 61cm and a depth of 40cm. Its seat height is 34cm. It is available in neutral and bright colours.
