Product description

The Series 7™ Chair Lacquered has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. The Danish brand took its place in the world as a benchmark furniture manufacturer by partnering with greatly talented, innovative designers such as Jacobsen. Started in 1872, the brand continues to hold its own with new designs and re-issues of iconic designs like the Series 7™ Chair Lacquered. As with other chairs in the series, it is made using layers of veneer that have been compressed together. The layers form a sturdy curved shell. This chair, which is one unified shell with no joints, has a backrest that is wide at the top edge and narrow at the lower edge. It then broadens out to form a well-sized seat. The design gives the chair a graceful, sleek silhouette of lines and curves. The shell, which has a semi-glossy lacquer finish, sits on a frame of steel tubes that are finished with a layer of chrome.

The Series 7™ Chair Lacquered has a width of 50cm, a height of 82cm and a depth of 52cm. It has a seat height of 46cm and a backrest height of 82cm. It is available in black and white.
