The Georg Desk 120x65x73cm has been created by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm for the brand Skagerak. Made from environmentally sustainable FSC®-certified wood, this quintessentially Scandinavian design is both understated and impressive. It will be a valuable extra storage surface for most rooms around the home, or can even be used as a main work desk if required.

Efficiency sums up the Georg Desk 120x65x73cm. Halstrøm has elected to use minimal materials, striving to keep the footprint of the product as low as possible. He has also sought to ensure that the desk occupies as little room space as possible. Designed to slot in flush against walls, it can fill in awkward spaces or make the most of compact apartments.

Size-wise, the Georg Desk 120x65x73cm measures 120cm long, 65cm wide, and 73cm deep. It features a rectangular table-top supported by four diagonally arranged legs, completing a beautifully simple composition. The height of the desk provides room to slide conventional armchairs underneath with a little extra clearance, while the surface will age elegantly over time. The designer has used wood throughout the piece. This ensures a unified aesthetic, while allowing Skagerak to source all the raw materials from certified forests.
