The Pelagus Lounge Chair has been created by NOTE Design Studio for the brand Skagerak. The Swedish multi-disciplinary design studio creates pieces that are both functional and uplifting. Both qualities are clear to see in the Pelagus Lounge Chair.
Named after the Italian for sea, this chair has a nautical feel. Designed for outdoor use, it is light and airy, with a backrest made from 100 percent polyester. This fabric is slightly translucent and breathable, making it just right for enjoying the sun and cooling sea breezes. Meanwhile, the chair's frame has been crafted from solid teak. This wood is also ideal for outdoor use because due to its high oil content that keeps it in good condition. Rectangular armrests flank the seat, while the wide back section is inclined backward and the seat that is slightly angled upwards, creating a basin to sink into. The legs on the chair are sturd, with a pleasantly rounded profile.
The Pelagus Lounge Chair has a width of 75cm, a height of 69.5cm and a depth of 69cm, with a seat height of 38cm and a backrest height of 69.5cm. It is available in sand with a natural teak frame and weighs 8.4kg.
