The eye-catching Next 142 Coffee Table was designed by Paola Navone for the Italian label Gervasoni.
Gervasoni has a long history, originally being formed in 1882. The firm began creating furniture in 1925 and has since acquired a reputation for creating innovative and practical furniture and lighting items. Originally focusing on natural materials such as willow and bamboo, the firm now makes extensive use of plastics, ceramics and braided patterns to render items that are both durable and attractive. Many lines such as the InOut, Ghost, Croco and Brick are developed in house, but the firm also collaborates with the leading designers such as Marco Piva, Jasper Startup and Micheal Sodeau.
Strikingly modern in appearance, the low, round Next 142 Coffee Table features a broad base of 35cm that makes it very stable. The edge of the table features a 1cm-high rim to prevent items from falling off. The unit is fashioned from cast-polished aluminium for a bright and modern look that infuses any room with a sense of brightness. Measuring 60cm in height and 62cm in diameter, the Next 142 Coffee Table is the ideal coffee or side table for any setting.
