Ebey Table Lamp

The Ebey Table Lamp has a shade made of recycled, fire-retardant cardboard. It is corrugated which creates the illusion of an elaborate, tribal pattern. It casts light downwards directly and some is emitted through tiny openings in the shade. This creates intriguing patterns of shadow and light when the lamp is on. The shape of the shade is another point of visual interest. It has a shape like that of a gourd but one that leans towards one side. The shape is elevated with the way the paper has been used. The corrugation has been used to create different patterns, starting with one of the small diamonds at the top and bottom and long waves in the middle. The shade sits on a metallic tripod-shaped stand.

The Ebey Table Lamp has a height of 40cm and a diameter of 25cm. Its cable is 250cm long and it has an on/off switch. Its light intensity cannot be adjusted unless a dimmable bulb is used. The lamp comes in neutral colours. It works with an E27 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately.
