Beetle 2-Seater Sofa

The Beetle 2-Seater Sofa has been created by GamFratesi for the brand Gubi. It is an evolution of the lounge chair in the Beetle collection. The name and design of all the pieces in this range are inspired by the actual insect.

The Beetle 2-Seater Sofa has a rounded frame that replicates the beetle's hard outer shell. The backrest and seat are well-stuffed and upholstered to make them soft and inviting. This imitates the insect's soft underbelly. The sofa has an inner shell made of steel. It is layered with high-resilience, fire-retardant CMHR foam and polyester wadding. This is hidden beneath upholstery that has been done with Sunday velvet fabric from the Dedar range of fabric. It is buttery soft, plush and durable. The upholstery is reinforced with matching binding around the edges. The base is also designed to replicate the look of a bettle's legs. It is made of narrow, rounded steel legs. They are outspread which is another representation of how they actually are on the insect.

The Beetle 2-Seater Sofa has a width of 140cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 80cm. Its seat height is 36cm and its backrest height is 55cm. It comes in neutral and earth-toned colours. It will make a comfortable and stylish addition to any living room.
