Frankfurter Chair 2.0

The Frankfurter Chair 2.0 has been created by the in-house studio for the brand Hana. A modern classic, the Frankfurter Chair is suitable for use around the home and always impresses with its modest style and fine construction. This is an updated version of the chair incorporating sustainable materials to bring the design right up to date.

The Frankfurter Chair 2.0 has a traditional form with a rounded back piece, a solid flat seat and four legs. The back legs reach up to support the back of the chair and also curve elegantly towards the base, making a neat contrast to the perfectly straight front legs. Another aspect that stands out is the chunky thickness of the seat. All elements have been made from sustainably harvested beech wood.

The Frankfurter Chair 2.0 measures 44cm wide, 49cm deep and has a height of 82cm along with a seat height of 47cm. The chair weighs 7.9kg, so it should be easy to move around dining tables as needed. Various colours are available, including natural oiled beech as well as matt lacquered white or black. Sustainable water based paints have been used to keep the environmental footprint low and eliminate toxins from the design.
