Named to reflect its use of contemporary techniques and stylish looks, the Neu 12 Chair makes an immediate impression with a sensuously moulded shell and subtle features which mix aesthetic quality with strength.

The form of the Neu 12 Chair Water-Based Lacquered Oak Base is familiar, with four legs and a gently rounded one-piece shell. But other aspects are less traditional. The shell has been formed from a single piece of polypropylene with rounded edges, while the slanted legs are made from finely textured oak which comes with a water-lacquered finish. Moreover, the join between these two elements is formed by a discreet die cast aluminium fixture, lending the design extra strength without compromising its aesthetics.
