The Peas Random Rug 200x140cm was designed in-house for the brand HAY. Husband and wife team Mette and Rolf HAY set up their company with one simple mission, to make good design affordable and available to all. Based in Denmark, the company upholds high standards of sustainability and ecological practice. Set up in 2002, theirs was one of the first brands to recognise that quality and sustainability often walk hand in hand, as does good design and economy.

The Peas Random Rug 200x140cm is part of their in-house, signature range and fulfills every one of their ethical tenets. It is woven using traditional methods, resulting in a rural-style, long lasting, bespoke finish. It uses only natural fibres, in this case sheep's wool and cotton. It is a simple, medium, oblong shape, which maximises its versatility. The edges are solidly finished, and tied into a tightly woven backing made to the highest standards. Wool is dirt and water resistant, and cotton has great longevity, which means the Peas Random Rug 200x140cm could easily last a lifetime. Available in several neutral colours, it will fit seamlessly into most decor schemes. Its measurements are 200 x 140 cm.
