The Pier System 1011 Wardrobe has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. It is designed for contemporary living where space is often limited. It provides a compact, modular solution that has a minimalist look.
The Pier System 1011 Wardrobe has two bars made of adonised aluminium with a satin finish. At the top, the bars have a plastic end cap and at the bottom, it has adjustable gliders. The top of it has a shelf that has a rail for hanging clothes. It is made of a sheet of steel that is raised at the back to prevent things from falling over. Connectors have been used to hold it in position on the bars. At the bottom, the unit has two wire shelves that are stacked on top of each other. Short, narrow rods at the back of it ensure things won't fall over the side. Its perforated surface can securely hold the items placed on it.
The Pier System 1011 Wardrobe has a width of 82cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 31.5cm. Whenever necessary, the unit can be reconfigured. More shelves can be added if needed or their position changed.
