The Pier System 1082 Wardrobe has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. It is one of the pieces in the Pier System Collection that is all about providing compact, versatile, modular storage options. These are particularly ideal for contemporary, urban living where space is often compact and perhaps shared.
The Pier System 1082 Wardrobe has two columns. These are formed with three bars made of anodised aluminium with a satin finish. They are topped with a plastic end cap and have adjustable gliders underneath. One column has three shelves made of sheets of steel. They are attached to the bars with aluminium connectors. At the bottom, there is a cabinet. Also made of steel, it has a door with magnetic closure. The top of it can be used as a work surface or to place items on while the inside provides additional storage space. The other column has one shelf with a rail for hanging clothes and a cabinet underneath.
The Pier System 1082 Wardrobe has a width of 162cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 34cm. It provides a compact and versatile solution for studio apartments, small bedrooms with inadequate wardrobe space and guest rooms that are typically small.
