The Slit Side Table Wood Oblong has been created by HAY for the brand HAY. The Danish brand strives as much as possible to design and produce pieces that pay homage to Scandinavian design traditions. This means pieces that are functional, practical, timeless and have superior craftsmanship. These and more values come out well in Slit Side Table Wood Oblong which was designed by the brand's founders.

This sculptural side table is inspired by origami which is ancient Japanese paper art. It is all about creating unique forms and shapes by folding paper in different ways. The same effect is achieved with this table by placing the oblong-shaped tabletop on a base made of slats that have been placed at angles that make it look like there are slits in the frame. The three slats that make up the legs are pre-mounted with gliders. The tabletop is made of plywood with water-based lacquered veneer in oak or walnut while the frame is made of curved plywood that also has water-based lacquered veneer in oak or walnut.

The Slit Side Table Wood Oblong has a length of 49.5cm, a width of 27.5cm and a height of 35.5cm. It is available in natural or black.
