Elba Parasol round

The Elba Parasol round has been created by Jan Kurtz for the brand Jan Kurtz. Kurtz started his self-named brand to create an offering of products that are functional and aesthetic. Working with in-house and independent designers, the brand has built a catalogue of products that are not only practical and visually appealing but also high-quality and durable. This is exemplified in the Elba Parasol round. It is comprised of an umbrella and a base that are joined by an aluminum pole. The pole has a joint at the bottom which makes it possible to adjust its height to allow in as much or as little sunlight as you wish. The aluminum ensures that the umbrella is lightweight and durable. It sits in a disc-shaped base. The rods that keep the umbrella open are made to be sturdy enough to withstand the strongest gusts of wind. There is further reinforcement in the air holes beneath a loose-fitting second parasol that lets the wind out in a controlled way.

The Elba Parasol round has a diameter of 300cm. The base of either galvanised iron or natural concrete is purchased separately. The parasol comes with a polyester UV-resistant cover that protects it when not in use.
