The Angelo Stone LED Floor Lamp has been created by Philippe Starck for the brand Kartell. The illumination originates not from above, but uniquely from the lamp's stem, casting an upward glow that enlivens the lampshade situated above it.

Philippe Starck's design for Kartell transforms conventional lighting design by ingeniously integrating the LED light source within the lamp's stem, casting light upwards. This innovation creates a captivating play of light and shadow through the shade, which is enhanced by advanced lens reflections. The lamp's architecture, featuring a sleek round base and a gracefully curved stem leading to the lampshade, showcases a variety of surface finishes. The shade itself, a conical piece fashioned from a transparent technopolymer, is elegantly draped in fine fabric, allowing for a dual emission of light—both indirect and direct.
