Atomium Suspension Lamp

The Atomium Suspension Lamp has been created by Hopf and Wortmann for the brand Kdln. Introduced in 2006, Atomium takes inspiration from the famous Atomium sculpture in the heart of Brussels. Perfectly sculpted and forward-thinking, this lamp will add a visual accent to rooms around the home, and generate bright glare-free light to make homes more welcoming and enjoyable places to be.

The Atomium Suspension Lamp has six round diffuser 'nodes' which resemble the atoms in a complex molecule. These nodes are all bulbous and connected to a central spine, which in turn hangs from a metallic cable. The central diffuser of the Atomium lamp is made from opalescent rotational moulded polyethylene plastic, and six internal luminaires hold lamps which cast an insistent, but relaxing light in all directions.

The Atomium Suspension Lamp measures 62cm long by 58cm wide and has a height of 52cm. The lamp is suspended by a 180cm long cable which can be height adjusted if needed. It can be externally dimmed to create the ideal ambience, and also comes with a round ceiling canopy to secure the pendant. Atomium requires 6 bulbs and the appropriate lamps with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
