Bertoia Plastic Side Chair Set Of 4

The stylish and contemporary Bertoia Plastic Side Chair Set Of 4 was designed by the Italian-born artist and designer Harry Bertoia for the innovative manufacturer Knoll International. After graduating from the Art School of the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts, the young designer obtained a scholarship at Cranbrook Academy of Art. In 1950, Bertoia moved to Pennsylvania and worked alongside prominent designers such as Hans and Florence Knoll. Around the same period, Bertoia designed the now famous diamond chair.
