The Platner Coffee Table was designed by Warren Platner for the brand Knoll International.

Renowned American architect and furniture designer Warren Platner was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1919 and graduated from Cornell University in 1941. He received the Rome Prize for architecture in 1955 and went on to work on numerous projects, including Washington Dulles International Airport and the Repertory Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Platner unveiled his seminal furniture collection in 1966, produced by Knoll International, whose presence in the world of furniture manufacturing spans more than 80 years. The Platner Coffee Table is part of Warren Platner's iconic 1960s collection. With its sculptural steel base and its glass top, this round coffee table is perfect for any home or commercial space. Measuring 38.5cm in height, the Platner Coffee Table can be paired with an armchair from the same collection. This unique design adds a touch of 1960s glamour while still being contemporary enough to hold its own in a minimalist setting. Warren Platner's famous round table is also available as a dining table.
