Product description

The BCN Stool/Bar Stool has been created by Harry and Camila Studio for the brand Kristalia. Its novel design is the result of tapping into new forms and technologies to unlock new possibilities. It paid off when the stool's unpeered design was unveiled.

The BCN Stool/Bar Stool is made of PBT which is a type of engineered plastic. The ergonomic, generously sized seat is a series of curves that start with a low back that has a straight edge. It goes down on either side where it broadens out into a well-sized seat. The curves continue down to form another surface creating the illusion of a stool with two seats. The lower surface serves to reinforce the strength of the stool as well as lend it a one-of-a-kind aesthetic. The seat is supported by a metallic base. Polished aluminium has been shaped into two U-shaped frames that stand side-by-side. They are joined underneath the seat in the middle and have sled-style legs with gliders underneath. A straight bar across the legs serves as a footrest.

The BCN Stool/Bar Stool has a width of 44cm, a height of 88cm and a depth of 46cm. It has a seat height of 76cm. It is available in light and dark neutral colours.
