Product description

The Patera Oval Suspension Lamp has been created by Øivind Slaatto for the brand Louis Poulsen. Danish designer Slaatto has a design philosophy that leads him to search for the obvious rather than the spectacular. The result is pieces that are stunning in their simple elegance and unusual detailing. This is evidenced in the Patera Oval Suspension Lamp. The oval-shaped white shade has the detail of lines that run along and across it to form diamond cells. Each cell is designed to reflect glare-free light when it is viewed from an angle of more than 40 degrees. The cells reflect light while emitting 360-degree illumination that bathes the space around it in soft, even light. The lamp can be suspended with or without a diffuser plate. The opening on the lower side of the lamp casts direct light which is reflected by the diamond-shaped cells all around. The ellipsoid pendant is ideal for low ceilings or where the preference is for a suspension lamp that is curved but not round.

The Patera Oval Suspension Lamp has a diameter of 50cm and a height of 36cm. Its cable is 400cm long. It is dimmable but an external dimmer has to be purchased separately. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
