Product description

Stool One has been created by Konstantin Grcic for Magis. This sculptural stool has a seat made of die-cast aluminium that is treated with sputtered fluorinated titanium and finished with polyester powder paint. The effect of this treatment is that the stool is fire retardant and it is suitable for use outdoors. The treated aluminium is split into triangle shapes of different sizes using tech-enabled die casting. They are joined to form a seat that is slightly dipped in the middle. Stool One has a base that is just as spectacular as the seat. Its three legs are not straight. Rather, they are angled which compliments the seat's innovative design. The legs are also made of adonised or painted aluminium and they are angled inwards. Two bars near the bottom of the stool form a V-shaped footrest.

Stool One is available in different sizes. The smaller one has a width of 53.5cm, a height of 74cm and a depth of 46cm. The larger one has a width of 56cm, a height of 84cm and a depth of 47.5cm. Some stools have a design where the seat is off-centre and others where the seat is centred between the three legs. The stool comes in black and white.
